๐ถ Friday, July 10 | 7:00 PM | C’mon Everybody, 325 Franklin Avenue: Emily Jeanne Brown ‘11, a singer-songwriter and public speaking coach, has released her debut album, Coaster. Emily performs folk-rock and Americana songs about identity and home. Join Emily to celebrate on July 10. More information and tickets available here.
๐ Sunday, July 12 | 8:00–9:30 PM | Virtual: Join Lola Anaya ‘24 for a reading, A Gathering of Poets, hosted by literary magazine Oyster River Pages. This event is virtual and free with an optional sliding scale donation. Details available here, form to register here.

๐ผ๏ธ If you’re headed to the MMA, check out “Six Gothic Churches” – six engravings by Amy Namowitz Worthen ‘67, on display in the exhibit “Independence and Identity: Selections from the Department of Drawings and Prints” in Gallery 690. They are on display from March 14–October 6, 2026. Details here.

On Loan
Smith College Museum of Art on loan to NYC Museums and Galleries
๐ผ๏ธ The Art Students League, 215 West 57th Street, has an exhibit of works by Fairfield Porter, “What Everyone Knows”, running from June 5–August 18, 2026. It features two works owned by the SCMA: Oak Tree, 1969 and The Orchard, 1964. Details are here: Fairfield Porter exhibit.
