An Important Message from Smith’s Office of Alumnae Relations
Smith College stands by its Admissions Policy and is grateful for the outpouring of support from alums all over.
In a recent email to alums, the College said: “The tremendous outpouring of support from alums and the public over the past few weeks uplifts our work and reaffirms that we are indeed stronger together.”
Alums can continue to support the college through the President’s Discretionary Fund. Donation details are available here.

🎶 Elim Chan ‘09, Smith Medalist 2026, has been appointed music director for the San Francisco Symphony beginning in September 2027. Chan is making history as a leading female conductor of leading orchestras. Read more here.
