Join us for a musical afternoon with pianist Jiayan Sun and violinist Elizabeth Chang, as they bring their Beethoven cycle from Sage Hall to Brooklyn Heights!

The ten Beethoven Violin Sonatas are groundbreaking works that defined the genre.  "Technically flawless, poetically inspired" (Toronto Star) pianist Jiayan Sun, prizewinner of the Leeds International Piano Competition and Associate Chair at Smith College Music Department and "stunning" (American Record Guide) violinist Elizabeth Chang, professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and The Juilliard School Pre-College, collaborate to reveal the mastery of these quintessential works.

The concert will present Sonatas Nos. 4,5,6,8,9 including the well-known "Spring" and "Kreutzer" sonatas.  A post-concert reception to meet the artists will follow.

Ocean Music Foundation:  The concert is presented by Ocean Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2023, devoted to nurturing an inclusive community where the transformative power of music is shared and celebrated.
