Join us for another musical afternoon with pianists Yang Liu and Jiayan Sun from Smith College’s music department featuring compositions by Chopin, Liszt, Busoni, transcriptions of Johann Strauss ’s waltzes, and more!

There will be a post-concert reception with the artists following the recital.
“Incredibly Expressive” (Toronto Star) pianist Yang Liu and “revelatory” (New York Times) pianist Jiayan Sun present an exhilarating program in the spirit of dueling pianos, featuring virtuosic piano works for two and four hands.
The concert is presented by the Ocean Music Foundation, a nonprofit organization founded in 2023, devoted to nurturing an inclusive community where the transformative power of music is shared and celebrated. Its mission is to champion the intrinsic value of music appreciation and education while harnessing music as a medium to address historical and contemporary social issues.
Ocean Music’s vision is to inspire the community to embrace the richness of many cultures and cultivate an enduring passion for music among people from different generations and diverse backgrounds.
