Chinese in New York - Celebrate the Year of the Dragon
Come to celebrate the Lunar New Year, with Chinese musicians sharing their stories through melodies across centuries that are closest to their hearts, on both Chinese traditional instruments and Western classical instruments. Don't miss this special Ocean Music Foundation concert featuring prominent and emerging musicians including Chinese traditional instrumentalists Tong Kong (dizi and hulusi), Wei Sun (guzheng) and Yubo Zhang (pipa), alongside soprano Chun Liu, flutist Zuoliang Liu, pianists Han Chen, Yang Liu, Yiying Niu and Eric Yang.
In its inaugural season, Ocean Music Foundation is sponsoring a series of monthly concerts. Mark your calendars and keep your eye out for future announcements.
