SAXOPHONE FANTASIES
March 10, 2024 3:00–5:00 PM
Join us for another delightful concert presented by Ocean Music Foundation featuring the saxophone!
Designed nearly two centuries ago by Adolphe Sax, the expressive possibilities of the saxophone are seemingly inexhaustible. Virtuosic saxophonist Jonathan Hulting-Cohen, Professor at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, presents an eclectic program with Jiayan Sun at the piano, featuring works including Carmen Fantasy by Pablo de Sarasate and Sonata in A Major by César Franck.
In its inaugural season, Ocean Music Foundation is sponsoring a series of monthly concerts. The last concert of the season will be April 14, 2024: “A Musical Carnival”. Mark your calendars and watch for a future announcement!
