Smith College Club of New York City: Little Island Tour with Signe Nielsen ‘72

What: Join fellow Smithies for a tour of Little Island on the Hudson River led by its landscape architect, Signe Nielsen ’72. She is a Founding Principal of landscape architecture firm MNLA. MNLA and Heatherwick Studio designed Little Island for the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation and the Hudson River Park Trust, imagining a new Pier 55 with performance spaces, strolling gardens, and incredible 360-degree views. MNLA is also the author of the Smith College Master Landscape Plan.
The tour is limited to 20 SCC NYC members.
