As you may already know, a slew of Smithies have been newly elected to Congress, including Senator-elect Tammy Baldwin '84, who served on the panel of our 2012 Spring Benefit. This is terrific news during an otherwise difficult week as NYC embarks on the long road to recovery following Hurricane Sandy. Should you wish to spend this time with fellow alumnae, there are many upcoming events sponsored by the Smith College Club of New York City designed to foster connections among the local Smith and larger Seven Sisters community. They include tomorrow's Seven Sisters Trivia Night, the Second Annual Smith College Museum of Art Holiday Shopping Event and, of course, the Holiday Party. We hope these events put a smile on your faces. And thanks to everyone who braved last week's blizzard to attend the art benefit. It was an amazing success.
