Announcing new membership levels!
Hello FIRSTNAMEHERE,
In advance of our annual Membership Party on September 17, the Smith College Club of NYC is introducing new, more comprehensive levels of membership to better address alumnae's needs and to call to mind some of the Smith College landmarks we remember so well.
Becoming a member at any level provides reduced admission to Club events and free admission to the annual Membership and Holiday parties. The new levels of annual membership are:
Mendenhall Members: Class of 2014 (first year after graduation) - Free
Grécourt Givers: Classes of 2009-2013 (1-5 years after graduation) - $30
Seelye Sponsors: Classes of 2004-2008 (6-10 years after graduation) - $50
Lyman Leaders: Class of 2003 and prior (more than 10 years after graduation) - $75
Bass Benefactors: Any class - $250 and may bring 1 guest to 1 event (except the Fall & Spring Benefits)
Paradise Patrons: Any class - $500 and may bring 1 guest to 2 events (except the Fall & Spring Benefits)
SophiaNYC Society: Any class - $1,000 and may bring 1 guest to unlimited events (except the Fall & Spring Benefits)
These levels will automatically update so that in 2015-2016 the class of 2015 will become Mendenhall Members, the Classes of 2010-2014 will become Grécourt Givers, and so on.
The new membership levels will apply to new members and those renewing their memberships as of today, August 21, 2014. Please keep in mind that current Club members will be able to retain their existing levels until they expire--365 days after the original purchase date. For example, an alumna who had joined the Club as a Junior member on June 1, 2014 will be able to maintain that level until May 31, 2015. At that point, the alumna would be able to renew as a Grécourt Giver, Seelye Sponsor, or Lyman Leader, depending on her graduation year.
