September Smith Club NYC Happenings: Membership Party & Free Speech with President McCartney

Dear Reader,

Next week begins an array of exciting events brought to you by Smith College and the Smith College Club of NYC. Wednesday, September 17, is our Annual Membership Party - a time to connect with Smith friends and hear what's ahead as we kick off a full year of events and programs. The party will be held at Janet Borden Gallery in Soho and is free for members. Then, on Monday, September 22, President Kathleen McCartney will moderate a panel in NYC about cultivating an academic culture of civil discourse and diversity of thought. Also, stay tuned for announcements about Mountain Day and how NYC alumnae will be celebrating the occasion.
