Smith Club fall events start with Mountain Day

Dear Reader,

On Tuesday 9/30 the Smith Club of NYC's first Young Alumnae/Young-at-Heart Meet Up of the season will take place in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Then on Wednesday 10/1 Dr. Patricia Tidwell '73 will interview best-selling author Melanie Notkin about her book, Otherhood: Modern Women Finding a New Kind of Happiness, and the many women finding satisfaction in a life that doesn't include marriage and motherhood. Also, it's not too early to RSVP for our special evening on Wednesday 10/8 with Dr. Shirley Dlugasch Zussman '34, a 100-year-old practicing sex educator and therapist, recently featured in Time magazine.

Finally, look for Mountain Day announcements on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and via a special alert newsletter. We encourage you to join us after work hours in Bryant Park, a Mountain Day meeting place that's become a Club tradition, and to share images of Mountain Day festivities using the hashtag #mountaindayinnyc.
