It's Official: Mountain Day is here!

Dear Reader,

This morning, after weeks of anticipation, the bells of Mountain Day finally rang, carrying on the college's 137-year tradition. As the students at Smith head out for a hike or go apple-picking, the Smith College Club of NYC will have our own Mountain Day celebration in Bryant Park, where you can share your memories of Mountain Day and make new connections over a pumpkin spice latte or some hot apple cider. If you can't join us in person share how you are spending Mountain Day using our hashtag #mountaindayinnyc.

Tonight, Monday, September 29, 2014

6:30 - 8:30 pm

Meet at the Bryant Park Pink Granite Fountain*

6th Ave and West 41st Street

*The Josephine Shaw Lowell Memorial Fountain, dedicated in 1912, is New York City's first public memorial dedicated to a woman. Lowell (1843-1905) was a social worker and founder of the Charity Organization Society. Charles Adams Platt designed the fountain.
