Wednesday Salon, Open Board Meeting and Champagne Tasting

Dear Reader,

Our Wednesday evening Salon (Wednesday, March 4, at 6:30 pm) is dedicated to working women -- and equal pay. Using journalist Mika Brzezinski's best-selling book, Knowing Your Value: Women, Money and Getting What You Are Worth, host Patricia Tidwell '73 PhD, LCSW will facilitate a discussion on how to speak up, negotiate, and get the salary you deserve.

Next week, we invite you to come to our NYC Smith College Club Open Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 10, at 7:30 pm. Each year we open up one of our meetings to members and non-members who might be interested in learning more about what we do -- and who might like to get more involved. Come find out about planning events, interviewing and supporting prospective students and much more.

Then on Thursday, March 12, from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm, wine expert Cynthia Sin-Yi Cheng '92 pops the cork and shares her knowledge about the wonderful world of champagne. Learn more about your palate and preferences while sipping samples from Charles Heidsieck, G.H. Mumm, Perrier-Jouët, Lamiable and Pascal Doquet.
