2016 Mountain Day Meet-Up Tonight in Bryant Park

Dear Reader,

This morning, Smith students awoke to one of their favorite sounds - the annual ringing of the bells celebrating the College's 139th Mountain Day!

You may not be able to convince your boss to excuse you from work today, but you can still get outside and enjoy the Mountain Day spirit right here in the Big Apple. Join us tonight at 6:30 pm in Bryant Park (6th Avenue and West 41st Street) by the Pink Granite Fountain - otherwise known as the Josephine Shaw Lowell Memorial Fountain, the first New York City public monument dedicated to a woman (in 1912).  Bring some hot apple cider or pumpkin spice latte and celebrate our own urban version of this beloved College tradition.

If you can't join us in person, let us know on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook how you are spending Mountain Day with our hashtag #mountaindayinnyc.

RSVP if possible so we know how many people to expect, and see you this evening.

Please note: Registration fees for events and activities are only transferable to another person to attend the event for which the registration fee has been paid. Registration fees are not transferable to another event or refundable.
