2017 Annual Scholarship Benefit and More

Ticket sales are open for the 2017 Annual Scholarship Benefit on April 3 featuring keynote speaker Shelly Lazarus '68 discussing her journey "From Mad Men to Google."  Proceeds from this important event provide critical aid to students.  Can't attend but wish to support current and future Smithies?  You can always make a contribution to the Scholarship Fund.

Our first Craft Meet-Up of the year will be on Wednesday, March 8 (6:30-8:30 pm).  Bring your knitting, crocheting or other project and a potluck dish to this informal gathering.

On March 14 (6:30-8:30 pm), find out about getting more involved with the Club by attending our annual Open Board Meeting.  You'll meet the Board of Directors and learn about the committees of the Club.  You could help by planning and publicizing events, growing Club membership, recruiting students, or managing our website.

If you follow current events, discuss immigration issues at a special joint event with the School for Social Work on March 21 featuring Dean Marianne Yoshioka and Professor Yoosun Park.

The School for Social Work comes to NYC and NYC goes to Northampton.  Travel to Smith for an overnight visit to the Smith College Museum of Art on March 23 - 24.  The Museum's special exhibit, Leisure and Luxury in the Age of Nero:  The Villas of Oplontis near Pompeii, features works seen for the first time outside Italy.  Please register by March 3.

We hope to see you soon!
