A Great Spring Lineup of Events ...

This May, we celebrate Smith's traditions and ceremonies with three special events.  Next week brings our Annual Faculty Lecture featuring Government Professor Howard Gold on Thursday, May 11, and our traditional Spring Tea on Saturday, May 13.  The following week, on Sunday, May 21, we host a live webcast of Commencement featuring 2017 Commencement Speaker Oprah Winfrey.  This is a special member event with limited space so please register early (or join as a member and register).

In June, we turn to fashion and crafts.  On Wednesday, June 14, Paula Deitz '59 and Kiki Smith '71 present "What We Wore:  Fashion and Memory in the Smith College Collection" in a presentation introduced by Jan Oresman '55 and featuring examples from both the Smith Museum and personal collections.  On Wednesday, June 21, we gather to knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, and more at our Crafts Meet-up.

We hope to see you soon!
