Two Great Events This Week!

This week we celebrate Smith's traditions with two great events:  Our Annual Faculty Lecture featuring Government Professor Howard Gold speaking about the election will take place on Thursday, May 11, and our traditional Spring Tea will be on Saturday, May 13.

Next week we continue our traditions on Sunday, May 21, when we host a live webcast of Commencement featuring 2017 Commencement Speaker Oprah Winfrey.  This is a special member event with limited space so please register early (or join as a member and register).

We turn to fashion and crafts next month.  On Wednesday, June 14, Paula Deitz '59 and Kiki Smith '71 present "What We Wore:  Fashion and Memory in the Smith College Collection." Featuring examples from both the Smith Museum and personal collections, the event will be introduced by Jan Carlson Oresman '55.  On Wednesday, June 21, we gather to knit, crochet, needlepoint, cross-stitch, and more at our Crafts Meet-up.

We hope to see you soon!
