Salon: Own It: The Power of Women at Work

At this salon moderated by Dr. Patricia Tidwell '73, participants will discuss Sallie Krawcheck's recent book that draws on her experience as a senior executive and entrepreneur to show women how to connect to their power to expand their careers.

Meetup: An Evening with Janet Groth

Join the Club for an evening with professor and award-winning author Janet Groth. Her memoir, The Receptionist: an Education at the New Yorker, which details her unique perspective on literary New York during the 1960s and 1970s, has just been published in France. Groth will be joined in conversation by Prune Perromat, a prominent print and television journalist, and host of The Literary Show Project talk show.

Sate the Date:  A Wrinkle In Time Screening

Join your fellow Smithies at a screening of A Wrinkle in Time. The new film, based on the 1962 novel by Madeleine L'Engle '41, is directed by Ava Duvernay and stars Oprah Winfrey, Reese Witherspoon, Mindy Kaling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Michael Peña, Storm Reid, Zach Galifianakis, and Chris Pine.  
 

Final details will be announced and tickets will be available for purchase on Wednesday, March 21.
