Summer is coming to a close and the Smith College Club of New York City is gearing up for a brand new year. A new team is in place and we are excited to bring you a great year of networking, traditions, events, and fun in the city.

FEATURED EVENT: 2018 Annual Membership Party

Hosted by Bridget Moore '79 at the DC Moore Gallery

Kick off the year with this annual gathering with Smithies and friends. Hors d'oeuvres, white and sparkling wine, and water will be served. The party is FREE to current Club members, so update your membership today. And remember, 2018 graduates can join for FREE!

Active members are the lifeblood of any organization. We want to know what you think of the Club and what works–or doesn't work–for you. Whether you are a current member, let your membership lapse, or never joined the SCCNYC, please help us out by filling out this brief survey by Sunday, September 30. 2018-19 NEW MEMBERSHIP EVENTS

Our Membership team is pleased to bring a series of exciting new events:

• Young @ Heart Outings
  • Events will range from Museum nights to game nights to last-minute NYC events. Suggestions are welcome. They will be open to members and non-members.
• Power Series
  • These events will provide opportunities to learn about each others' career paths and opportunities while making and maintaining contacts in relevant industries.
• Meet-Ups
  • Many have expressed interest in reviving neighborhood and language Meet-ups. If you would like to become a partner in these events or want to kick-start a meet-up in your neighborhood, just let us know and we’ll help get it started.

Young @ Heart Meet-Up: Game Night

A game night is a great way to bond with your Smith family in NYC. Come play games, relax, and drink with friends. Whether you want friendly or fierce competition, there's something for everyone: board games, card games, and darts. e's BAR has plenty of games, but feel free to bring your own.

At this Smith Club favorite, the Smith College Museum of Art brings gift items ranging in price from $5-$500 for Smithies to purchase. Proceeds support the art museum.
