As spring approaches, we're keeping busy with games, art, panels, and more. Mark your calendars and get ready to enliven your season with Smithies and friends!

You're invited to an insightful discussion on experiences and issues surrounding adoption. Open to Smith College alumnae, Smith School for Social Work alumni, current SSW students, and guests. Refreshments will be provided. Presented in Partnership with the Smith College Office of Alumnae Relations and the Smith School for Social Work.

Neighborhood Meet-Up: LES Game Night
Live or work on the Lower East Side and want to meet more Smithies in your neighborhood? Come relax, play games, and bond with your local Smith family! This FREE meet-up is open to Smith Club members and non-members alike.

Join the Smith Club to walk through Exhibitionism: 50 Years of The Museum at FIT, which brings back thirty-three of the most influential fashion exhibitions produced at the Fashion Institute of Technology. This is not a guided tour, but rather an opportunity for those with a common interest to gather and enjoy the exhibit together. The Club will meet in the lobby at 6:30 pm. Admission to is free. Final Exam Care Packages for Current Smithies
Join us for a relaxed afternoon of writing notes and making packages to cheer on the 200 current Smithies from the NYC area as they prepare for their final exams. Supplies and light refreshment will be provided. Anyone interested in donating small items for the packages, please contact Eva at admissionscommittee@smithclubnyc.org.

Location: Upper West Side (location provided to registrants)
Price: FREE

The annual fundraising event will take place next month and feature Florence Fabricant ’58, food and wine writer for The New York Times, as the keynote speaker. Tickets can be purchased online. Proceeds benefit the Smith Scholarship Fund and are dedicated to providing critical financial aid to students from the Greater New York area.
 
**Please purchase tickets by 6 pm on Tuesday, April 2nd; tickets will not be available at the door.**

Location: The Cosmopolitan Club (122 East 66th Street)
Join the Smith Club at the new Jean-Michel Basquiat Exhibition in the East Village; which brings together Basquiat masterworks from around the world. This is the inaugural exhibition of The Brant Foundation's new New York City space. More Information
 
Note: This will not be a curated visit; though the Club has a limited number of tickets to explore the exhibit during the following timeslot.

Women Investing in Women Panel
The Seven Sister Clubs and the Alumni Ventures Group Women's Fund are co-sponsoring a reception and panel presentation on venture capital funding for women. Comprised of female founders and funders, the panel will discuss seeking, securing, and using external capital from a variety of sources as well as sourcing, conducting due diligence, and engaging funders.
