Annual Smith Summer Partner Program
Thanks to everyone who signed up as a mentor for SPSP 2022.
We are please to announce that we have 72 volunteers as of June 1
and now have more mentors than students. Exceptional participation for 2022!
SPSP is a time-tested program that has assisted Smith Students for almost ten consecutive years.
Smith alums are matched with current Smith students who will be interning in the New York City area. Each year, our goal is to secure a broad spectrum of alum volunteers, across class years and career backgrounds. We would like as many alums as possible to be part of this rewarding opportunity!
Smith Summer Partner Program is open to Smith students and grads of the current class year working in New York City during the summer who would like to have an alumn partner.
If you are interested in participating, you would agree to meet with your Smith student/grad two times the summer, once near the beginning of their internship and once near the end. (Virtual meetings are fine.) While two meetings are required, we encourage you to meet more often if your schedule permits. The time commitment is manageable and, in the past, has been very meaningful for alumnae partners.
