Join fellow Smithies for an after-hours private tour of Just Frame It: How Nike Turned Sports Stars into Superheroes led by Es-pranza Hamilton, Assistant Curator of Collections, at the Poster House!
At the end of the 20th century, one of the most popular ways for a superstar professional athlete to cement their status was to have their persona memorialized on a Nike poster. This exhibit chronicles how Nike paved the way for modern sports advertising.
Come hang out with other Smithies and learn about the sports company Nike and its iconic, larger-than-life superstar images!
