Speak Sing Shout Exhibition

Join fellow NYC Smithies for an exhibition visit hosted by Sarah K. Khan ’87. She has kindly invited our community to explore her exhibition Speak Sing Shout: We, Too, Sing America, currently on view at BRIC Arts Media in Brooklyn.

The exhibition is part of “What Can Become of Us?”, a collaboration between the Stanford Institute for Advancing Just Societies and Zócalo Public Square, exploring migration, community, and connection.

This exhibition—Sarah’s most extensive solo exhibition to date—centers around food histories, global movement, and the powerful stories of “unruly” women.

We hope you will join us for this special December event as we conclude our 2025 programming and gather in community before the holidays.

🗓 Thursday, December 18, 2025
6:00 PM

📍 BRIC Arts Media
647 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY

Cost: Free and open to the NYC Smith community.
