Join us for a musical afternoon with pianist Jiayan Sun "technically flawless, poetically inspired" (Toronto Star) and violinist Elizabeth Chang "stunning" (American Record Guide), as they bring their Beethoven cycle from Sage Hall to Brooklyn Heights!

Mr. Sun, is a prizewinner of the Leeds International Piano Competition and Associate Chair of the Smith College Music Department; Ms. Chang is professor at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and The Juilliard School Pre-College.

The concert, sponsored by Ocean Music Foundation, will present Sonatas Nos. 4,5,6,8,9, including the well-known "Spring" and  Kreutzer sonatas. A post-concert reception to meet the artists will follow.

Dr. Cooper is Professor of Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Africana Studies at Rutgers University and the author of several books, including NYT bestseller Eloquent Rage: A Black Feminist Discovers Her Superpower.

Annual Pecan Sales - A Smith Tradition - Pecans for the Holidays!

These pecans make a wonderful treat for your family and friends – and, as always,

the net proceeds go to the Smith College Scholarship Fund! 

 

For more than sixty years, Smith College clubs around the country have been selling Georgia pecans at holiday time to raise money for college scholarships. Dorothy Lobrano Guth '50 started this fundraising effort for the Smith College Club of NYC about fifty years ago.

This year, once again, all orders will be facilitated for us by the Hampshire County Smith Club, MA.  Small order, local Manhattan pickups are available!
